55 People Lightly Injured in Tow Trains Accident

Tunis, July 31 (QNA) – At least 55 people were injured today after a collision of two trains in the city of La Goulette (Halq al Wadi), to northern suburbs of Tunis.

In a press statement, Spokesman for the Interior Ministry Mohamed Ali Laroui denied any registration of deaths as a result of the incident, saying one of the passengers was seriously wounded and he was transported to a hospital in Tunis.

He added that the security units and civil protection teams had provided first aid to the rest of the lightly injured people. He pointed out that the causes of the accident are still unknown. (QNA)
