4.6-Measuring Earthquake Hits Fiji

An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Fiji on Monday.

The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 362 km east of Tonga, at a depth of 593.6 km.

There have been no reports of casualties or material losses due to the earthquake so far.

Fiji is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, making it exposed to many tremors and aftershocks that may be strong at times.
