Mindza Wins Qatar Coupe de France des Chevaux Arabes /Gr1 PA/

Paris, June 30 (QNA) -Mindza, who belongs to Qatari owner Hassan Al Matwi, retained her unbeaten record in three starts when winning the Qatar Coupe de France des Chevaux Arabe (Gr1 PA), on Monday, at Chantilly. The filly was successful on her first two starts at Doha, including an impressive win in the Club Breeders Trophy for three-year-olds. Mindza has been transferred to Belgian trainer Leo Braem, who is based at Mons Racecourse, for the European season. She arrived in Europe only a month ago and that has made her performance even more impressive. The filly dug deep to beat Bon Baiser de Faust.

Leo Braem explained: “Hassan Al Matwi’s filly was sent to me to run in the good races in Europe. She has adapted to her new environment very quickly, after spending a few days in quarantine in Amsterdam. She eats well and doesn’t show a lot in the mornings, but apparently she was the same in Qatar. We will not run her again too soon as she is still immature. Normally she will run in another Gr1 in Deauville.”(QNA)
