Qatar Finance and Business Academy Holds Ceremony for Kawader Program Graduates

Doha, Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) held today the graduation ceremony for the fourth cohort of its 'Kawader' program, crowning the exemplary performance of 21 young Qataris who are now ready to take on leadership roles in the country's financial services sector On the occasion, HE the Minister of Finance Ali Shareef Al Emadi praised the winning efforts of the program's fourth cohort and highlighted the important role that acclaimed training programs like 'Kawader' play in the development of a high-caliber, human capital base that can help drive the growth of the entire industry in Qatar.

Since it kicked off in May 2013, the 'Kawader' program, instituted by the QFBA in partnership with the Qatar Financial Center Authority (QFCA), has acted as an ideal platform for the country's aspiring professionals to acquire skills and build competencies in cross-functional areas in the financial sector.

In its fourth edition, the program granted a group of students from different academic and professional backgrounds including Qatar University, Stenden University, Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University, amongst other educational institutions, the opportunity to embark on an immersive journey of learning and personal growth.
