Public Debt of Kyrgyzstan Exceeds $4 Billion in 2016

Bishkek, The public debt of Kyrgyzstan reached $4 billion and 105.4 million in 2016, the country's Minister of Finance Adylbek Kasymaliev said.

At a press conference in Bishkek today, the minister said that the foreign debt reached $3 billion and 782,7 million, while the domestic debt reached $322.7 million.

He added that the state budget over the past year allocated about 20.7 billion Kyrgyz som to pay off public debt, of which 9 billion and 180.4 million som for the payment of external public debt, and 11 billion and 518.6 million som for the payment of the domestic debt.
