Doha, - HE Speaker of the People's National Assembly of Algeria Dr Mohamed Al Arabi Ould Khalifa and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to Qatar Foundation (QF).
The delegation, which was joined by HE Algerian Ambassador to Qatar Abdelaziz Sebaa, met with Executive Vice President of QF Research and Development (QF R&D) Dr Hamad Al-Ibrahim.
During the visit, the delegation was given a comprehensive presentation highlighting QF's different education institutes, science and research centers, and community development initiatives.
The visitors learned how QF's flagship development, Education City, serves as a hub of academic excellence, housing a range of educational facilities, from QF schools to partner universities and its homegrown institution, Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU).
Following the presentation, the visitors were taken to the open-air viewing platform on the eighth floor of QF HQ where they were shown the education and research buildings of Education City, and discussed future plans at Qatar Foundation.
Concluding the visit, Dr Ould Khalifa signed Qatar Foundation's Visitors Book to commemorate his visit to QF. (QNA)
