4.3-Magnitude Quake Jolts Mourmouri, Ilam Province in Iran

Tehran, August 26 (QNA) – An earthquake measuring 4.3 degrees on Richter scale jolted Mourmouri town in Iran’s western province of Ilam Tuesday morning, Iran’s News Agency (IRNA) reported.

According to a report by the Seismography Center of Tehran University’s Geophysics Institute and its epicenter was at 32.78 degrees latitude and 47.80 degrees longitude in depth of 14 kilometers.

There was no immediate report on possible casualties or damage caused by the quake. (QNA)
