2 Killed, 13 Injured in Bomb Blasts Near Cairo Palace

Cairo, June 30 (QNA) – Two Egyptian police officers were killed on Monday in two blasts while trying to defuse explosive devices planted near Cairo’s presidential palace, said Egypt’s Health Ministry today.

The ministry said in a statement that first blast claimed the life of a colonel and injured for people, while the second blast killed a major and injured nine others.

The injured people were taken to hospital the statement added. (QNA)
